Providing care for patients involves more than just messaging. Phamily automatically captures all of the time you spend with patients using stopwatch.

Auto-Log Time

Time spent on a patient's chart within Phamily is automatically tracked for you via the stopwatch! You will no longer need to track your own time.

As soon as you open an enrolled patient's chart, minutes will start tracking immediately. This setting is adjustable. The stopwatch will track all of the time the patient's chart is open. After you close the chart, Phamily saves the time and updates the timeline.

Tip: You can always add more documentation/detail to the time logged later during a weekly/monthly chart review

During a scenario where time is being auto-logged, but you want to record manual time, take the following steps to ensure time is not lost:

  1. Click the stopwatch to open the panel

  2. Add an activity type and any relevant details to the time that has accumulated

  3. Click Done

Manually Log Time

You can log all activities completed outside of Phamily via activities. Click on the stopwatch to open the drawer and edit to add time, date, activity type, and details.

Note: Checking off Spoke to patient on the phone will update Last Engaged and Last Contacted date for that patient. Once you click Done you cannot uncheck Spoke to patient on the phone.

Note: On charts for patients who are not actively enrolled in a program, the stopwatch will be an "activity" window instead
