Follow the steps below to link your Shopify webshop to your Piggy account, so that customers can easily collect points with every purchase
Obtain your authentication information
Piggy needs access to your orders to create savings transactions. For this, you need to create a so-called app in your Shopify environment.
Log in to your Shopify environment
At the bottom of the sidebar, navigate to Settings
In the settings, click Apps & sales channels in the sidebar
Click on App Development
βIf you have not yet allowed 'Custom App Development', click on 'Allow Custom App Development' and confirm.Click Create an app and give the app a name
Click Configure Admin API scope and select the following scopes: read_customers, read_orders, read_price_rules, write_discounts, write_gift_cards
Now click Install App.
βThe authentication information is now generated, you will need this for step 2.
Installing the Shopify plugin in the Business Dashboard
Log in to your Business Dashboard
Navigate to Tools (9 dots) and then to Integrations
Find the Shopify integration and click Install
Follow the steps and fill in the information from the step above where prompted
Select the company profile/store from which the points should be sent
