The general rule for your program simply refers to the standard conversion ratio of currency spent in store to points. This is set up alongside any other Rules you have set up however, you simply add no entry criteria so it applies to all transactions. The default conversion is 1 currency spent = 1 point generated. If you would like to stick to this, no general rule is needed.
Create a general rule:
To create a general rule in your dashboard, navigate to ‘Loyalty’ -> ‘Earn Rules’ -> 'Unit Transactions'.
The general rule is that one euro or pound spent is equal to one point.
To adjust this rule, click on the ratio found under 'Base Rule'. Then, simply enter the values to achieve your desired base rule.
Any additional rules you have configured will be applied after the base rule.
