How to set up a Prepaid program

Everything needed to set up your Prepaid program.

The Prepaid feature allows customers to charge currency on their loyalty account. It allows for the topping-up and downgrading of the balance on their respective accounts. Old card balances from similar programs can be added via CSV, and carried on in our Dashboard with more possibilities.

To set up the program, the only real steps to be completed are:

  1. Go to 'Store'->‘Prepaid’ and then ‘settings’

  2. Locate the ‘maximum amount’ field and enter the appropriate value

  3. Import any existing balances via 'data' and then ‘imports’ and make sure to select prepaid transactions in the type.

If you possess a payment integration, it is also possible to top-up prepaid balances online via the Contacts Portal.

First, navigate to ‘Apps’ then to ‘Contacts portal’. The payment integration can be linked using the ‘payments’ tab on the left hand side.

Next, When editing the portal, make sure to include a prepaid field. This can be done by navigating to the home page (on the left), and including the prepaid block via the editor on the right hand side.

If you go to the general settings on the dashboard and then to 'prepaid' and 'order options', you can configure the amounts that customers can top up their cards with. These will appear in the portal under the prepaid block. Under 'order options' you can also change the images for these orders.
