Table Menu

In this article, we cover all the actions that can be taken in the table menu area above the work list table.

Filter

The Filter button allows you to filter your list by the varying data fields on your site.

To filter your work list, click the 'Filter' button above the work list table:

  • When filtering points by tags—including or excluding points with tags—you can use the tick box to select one tag, multiple tags, or combine tags.

  • Continue scrolling down the filter menu to select Custom Fields by which to filter.

  • The filters will apply automatically as you make changes.

  • Click 'Done' to close the Filter menu or 'Clear all' to show the full work list again.

Filters will remain in place until reset. They are cleared when clicking 'Reset table' or selecting 'Clear all' in the filter menu.

By default, Completed and Canceled points will not show in the main work list but can be seen when selecting ‘Completed’ and ‘Canceled’ through the filter menu.


Advanced Filters

To access Advanced Filters, click the "Switch to Advanced Filters" button at the bottom left of the Filters menu.

Please note: Advanced Filters are available in the Filter menu on Sites, but are not yet accessible in the Overview Table.

This enables you to apply advanced filtering conditions to your work list.

Click "Add Filter Condition" to choose the desired filters and specify how they should be applied. Select multiple filter conditions as needed, then click "Done."

If a Saved View is active, click "Save to Current View" to include the advanced filters.

To return to the basic filters menu anytime, simply click the "Switch to Basic Filters" button.

Note: Advanced Filters include Completed and Cancelled tasks, unlike Basic Filters.

Sort

Sort by multiple fields using the Sort button. Use the arrow icons to select the order in which points should appear – ascending or descending. To rearrange the order of the sort, click to hold to drag and drop into place. The table headers will indicate which fields are used to sort the points.


Group

Use the Group button to group points by the different columns of data in your table. The number of points in that group will appear next to the group header. Use the arrow icons to select the order in which points should appear – ascending or descending.


Table Columns

To choose which data fields to display, click on the Table Columns button. Use the toggle buttons to hide or show the fields. Click and hold a field name to drag and drop fields into a different position.

Hover your mouse over the column dividers to change the column size.

Click the table columns then hold the field name to drag and drop into position.

Click on the column header to sort the list by that field—once for ascending, twice for descending, and three times to return the column to the default order, most recently Updated.


Views

Saved Views enable users to preserve their site preferences and establish default views within an individual site.

Export

Export your work list or certain points on a work list site into different reports.

Search

The keyword search box on the right side of the header allows you to quickly search for a specific word or number in all columns of the point table.

Enter the word, number or phrase, then press "Enter" on your computer keyboard to search or tap the tick or return icon from mobile browsers. A list of any points related to that search will appear highlighted in blue in the work list table.

To clear the search, click the "x" in the corner of the search box, and the full work list will populate.


Reset Table

Click the Reset table button on the top right corner to return to the default view.


Site Plan

Use the "Site Plan" toggle button on the top right side of the page to show and hide the site plan as required.
