What Pionex Will Never Do
If anyone claiming to be Pionex does any of the following, it is a scam:
Contact you through Telegram, WhatsApp, LINE, or any other messaging app to offer support or investment advice
Ask you to send cryptocurrency upfront to "verify your address," "unlock your account," or "activate a withdrawal"
Promise guaranteed returns or fixed daily profits
Ask you to share your Google Authenticator code, password, or SMS verification code
Tell you that your funds are frozen and require a tax payment or fee to release them
Reach out to you on social media to recommend an investment opportunity
One exception: If you deposited an unsupported token or used the wrong network, a recovery fee may apply in some cases. If this applies to you, contact service@pionex.com directly. Do not pay any amount quoted by someone who contacted you first.
Common Scam Types
Fake Telegram bots and channels Scammers create Telegram accounts or bots with names like "@PionexSupport" or "@PIonexRUSbot" that look official. Pionex does not provide customer support through Telegram. Any such account is fake.
Fake Pionex websites Fraudulent sites use domain names similar to Pionex — for example, pionex-pro.com or pionexs.com — and copy the Pionex interface. Always check the exact URL. The only official domain is www.pionex.com.
Unsolicited contact claiming to be Pionex Pionex staff will never message you first on Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, or any other platform. We will also never send you a link asking you to complete face verification. If someone reaches out to you claiming to be Pionex, it is a scam.
Upfront fee to withdraw A platform tells you that your withdrawal is blocked and requires you to pay taxes, insurance, or a verification fee first. Pionex never requires any upfront payment to process a withdrawal. If you encounter this, stop immediately and do not deposit more funds.
Recovery agent scams After being scammed, victims are sometimes approached by individuals claiming to be lawyers or asset recovery specialists who say they can retrieve lost funds — for a fee. These are almost always secondary scams. Pionex only cooperates with official law enforcement through formal legal channels.
