Today's Profit: Definition, Calculation Method, and Common Display Anomalies

What is Today's Profit?

Today's Profit is a figure displayed on your account homepage, representing the change in your total account assets for the current day. This metric provides a snapshot of intraday performance and does not represent the total performance of your trading bot or account.

The calculation is as follows: Today's Profit = Current Total Account Assets − Total Account Assets at 00:00 Today

Every day at 00:00 (your local time), this figure resets to zero and begins recalculating.

What Assets Does Today's Profit Cover?

Today's Profit does not simply reflect the performance of a single bot or position — it covers all assets across your entire account, including:

  • Spot coins held in the account (converted to USDT at current market prices)

  • Assets occupied by active bots

  • Futures account position values

All of these are combined to form the basis of Today's Profit calculation.

Why Does Today's Profit Show a Negative Value Even Though My Bot Is Profitable?

Reason 1: The spot coins you hold dropped in price today
If you hold any spot crypto in your account (e.g. BTC, ETH, or other coins), their USDT value fluctuates with the market. Even if your grid bot is making money, a large enough drop in spot coin prices can push Today's Profit into negative territory. This is normal market movement and does not indicate a problem with your account's profitability.

Reason 2: You are viewing account profit/loss in a non-USD fiat currency
If you have set your account to display amounts in TWD, EUR, or another fiat currency, exchange rates fluctuate daily. Even if your USDT balance has not changed at all, the converted fiat amount will still move up and down. It is recommended to use USDT as the base currency to assess actual account changes, and avoid misjudging due to exchange rate fluctuations.

Reason 3: Growth Fund or Futures Bonus Reclaimed by the Platform
If you hold any Growth Fund or Futures Bonus products and these funds are reclaimed by the platform, the resulting reduction in asset value will be directly reflected in Today's Profit for that day. This may cause Today's Profit to show an unexpected negative value, even if you have not made any active trades that day.

What Is the Difference Between Today's Profit and the Profit Shown in the Bot List?

The profit displayed in the bot list is the cumulative profit since the bot started running, calculated from the moment the bot was created.

Today's Profit, on the other hand, reflects the overall change in account assets from 00:00 today (local time) to the present. It is a relative indicator — showing how much your total assets have increased or decreased since midnight, and resets at 00:00 each day. Since the two have different calculation start points, it is completely normal for the numbers to differ — this does not indicate an error or issue.

How Do I Know How Much I've Actually Earned?

If you want to understand the actual profit of a specific bot, please refer to the earnings figure on that bot's detail page. To view your daily profit for futures accounts, please refer to the Futures PnL within the futures account. Note that the 'Futures PnL' section does not include profits and losses from Coin-M futures trades, as these use a 'Multi' margin order system drawing funds from the primary account.

If none of the above applies, what should I do?

If you have confirmed that you do not hold any spot coins, have no Growth Fund or Futures Bonus that were reclaimed, and are not viewing your balance in a local currency, but Today's Profit still shows an unexplained figure, please contact customer support with a screenshot of your account and your UID. Our team will investigate further on your behalf.
