Exporting a Bulleted List Using a Multi-line Text Field in the Slides App

How to convert multi-line text to a bulleted list using the Slides app

Exporting a bulleted list into PowerPoint is easily done by using the Enter/Return key in a Multi-line text field along with Pitchly’s bullet syntax. Add lines of text in a multi-line text field and click the Enter/Return key wherever a bullet needs to be added.

Example of data stored in Pitchly:

Using the syntax guide, create a template in PowerPoint that includes the bullet syntax below. Verify that the field name in Pitchly is the same field name in the template and include “_BULLET” at the end of your field name.

The phrase {TEXT} must be nested inside the content block and formatted as a bullet using your document ribbon in PowerPoint.

Tool tip: This function works best when data in a field is formatted in a uniform fashion. For example, ensure that the field contains only listed data or standard paragraphs, not a mix of both standard paragraphs and listed data points.
