How to adjust Elements in a template by a set pixel count
To enhance your design precision in Elements templates, adjust the pixel "snap" setting to a specific pixel count ranging from 1 to 10. This is done through the dropdown menu displayed below. By selecting a pixel snap value, you control the distance objects move when adjusted on the canvas, ensuring your designs maintain the desired structure and integrity. For example, setting the snap value to 5px allows:
The ability to move a select object 5 pixels at a time using your mouse or arrow keys.
The ability to increase the height and width of a select object 5 pixels at a time.
Once you’ve chosen a pixel snap setting, the exact dimensions of your selected object will be displayed, along with its x and y coordinates, in the bottom left corner of the canvas. This allows you to verify the exact placement and size of template layers in real-time.
Setting the snap to one pixel allows you to position objects with exact accuracy. Whether you’re creating intricate templates or fine-tuning specific elements, this level of control is essential for a polished final product.
