To receive fermentation data in your Plaato App, you will need to first connect your device to WiFi. Follow the steps in the video below to learn how to connect your Plaato Airlock to WiFi👇🏼
Steps to connect Plaato Airlock to WiFi
Using the provided USB cable, connect your Airlock to a power head (AC). We recommend that use an adapter that provides a minimum of 5V and 1.5amps power supply
Create a New Account - or log in
Click on "Add a new Device"
Sign into your WiFi using your SSID and Password; make certain that you are entering the correct SSID and password and that you are connecting to a 2.4GHz network only.
Make sure your Airlock is powered on and is in "Setup-mode". Then click on "Ready" to connect to your Plaato Airlock.
Select your Plaato Airlock device, it will be labelled "PLAATO-XXXX" on the menu
Wait for the 3-step configuration to complete. Make sure your Airlock and router are as close as possible
After configuration is complete, your Plaato Airlock is online. The LEDs will now enter "Sensing-mode", showing that Plaato is connected.
Adding another Plaato device to your account:
Select the menu at the top right corner of your app
At the bottom of "My Devices" select "Add new device"
Follow the setup-process as before.
Note: This is a one-time operation unless you reset.
