Learn how to use PLAI’s Digital Wallet or pay directly by card. Understand when to pre-load funds, pay for one-off purchases, and keep your payments secure.

Updated over 5 months ago

Keeping your payments smooth in PLAI is simple. You can use either the Digital Wallet or pay directly by card - here’s how each works.

Do I need to top up my PLAI Wallet before making a purchase?

No. Parents and users are not required to deposit money into their Wallet before making payments.

  • The Digital Wallet (accessible from the Home Screen → Bank on a team page) is a convenient way to “park” funds for future use.

  • You can also pay directly for any shop item via the Shop tab using any Credit or Debit card.

  • After your first transaction, your card details are securely saved and encrypted for quick and easy future payments.

When should I use the Digital Wallet?

  • To store funds in advance for recurring or one-off purchases.

  • To simplify multiple transactions without re-entering card details each time.

When can I pay directly?

  • For one-off purchases like kit, merchandise, or match fees.

  • If you prefer not to pre-load your Wallet balance.

✅ Summary

  • Digital Wallet: Optional, useful for pre-loading money for future spend.

  • Direct Card Payment: Fully supported; no pre-loading required.

  • Security: All card details are encrypted and safely stored after first use.
