Remove a member
Open the group chat's profile screen.
Find the member you want to remove in the member list.
Tap the remove icon next to their name.
Confirm on the modal that appears.
The member is removed immediately. The chat disappears from their list, and they lose access to view or send messages there right away. Their previous messages stay visible to everyone else.
Note: Group admins can remove members from their own group's chats. Club admins can remove members from any group chat. A group admin can't remove a club admin. You can't remove yourself this way, use Exit Group Chat instead.

Can a removed member rejoin?
Only if an admin adds them back.
Does removing someone delete their past messages?
No. Their message history stays in the chat for everyone else.
