Trip request forms make it super easy to manage new trip requests in PlanitEasy. Whether you want a general form to place on your website or a specialized trip request form (ex. a form for a safari) that has more detailed questions, you'll see how easy it is to create!
Let's get started.
From your dashboard you'll see the Form tab on the left side of your screen. Click the Forms tab to open up your form options.
Then click on Trip Request. This will take you to the Trip Request Form page where all of your trip request forms will be stored. To create a new form, click the + Add New button in pink.
Now the form page will open up. You'll first give the form a name. For example, General Trip Request. You can also change the cover image to match the theme of your request by clicking Change Cover Image.
Next, you'll go through and check or uncheck any of the items that you want your clients to fill out.
At the bottom of the form, you'll see a section where you can customize your old questions. To create your own question drag the Input Field button into the large rectangular box.
From here you MUST click on the edit button, the little pencil highlighted in blue.
Below is where you will fill in your custom question. If you fill it in the blank box that is shown in the image above it won't save. That blank box is where your client is going to fill in their answer. You see below I have chose to add the question, "have you been on a safari before?" You'll click the small Save just below the Value field to save your question.
After saving, your question will appear like this.
When you are done adding your customized fields, you can click the pink SAVE button at the bottom of your form. You will then be brought back to the Forms page where you will find your newly created Trip Request form.
To share the link to your form on your website, on your social media platforms, etc. click on the small URL icon button to the left of the pencil icon. Below you'll see it highlighted in grey. After clicking this, the URL will be copied and you can then paste it wherever you'd like.
As requests come in you'll see them tallied in the Submitted Requests section.
You can view the trip requests in your Trip section under the Request tab. You can then manage the trip from here!
