Creating Checklists Templates and Managing Tasks

On your dashboard, on the left hand side bar, there is the checklists section. Click on checklist and then click on templates. .

The checklists page will appear will appear where you can select "Add New" and give your new checklist a name.

Save your new checklist and when the window closes, scroll to the bottom of the page and find it. Once you have found it, click "add new task" and start adding the various tasks for this checklist

Adding Tasks to a Checklist

When creating a task under your checklist, click "add new task" and add a title and a description.

*Optional* You will notice that you can add a trigger, a time period for the trigger in the 'select type' drop down field and how many of the days, weeks or months you want the time period to stand for in the 'enter number' field.

If you select to use the triggers , this action will automate tasks once they are added to a trip that has a date on it.

Task Reminders

When you turn on the task reminder button, the advisor assigned to the task will receive an email notifying them that their task completion date is coming up. If the task reminder button remains off, the advisor in charge of the task will only have the task showing on the dashboard and on the trip as a visual reminder.

Setting up Task Reminders

Go to your 'My account' page and on the left hand tool bar, scroll down to 'Task Default Reminder settings'. There you can add how many email reminders you want based on different time periods before the task is due.

Notification Settings

After you set up your reminders, while still in the 'My account' page, scroll down on the left hand tool bar and select 'Notification Settings'. Here you can turn on the reminder settings you have created.

Adding a Checklist to a trip

While in the Trip Planner, go to bar on the left hand side and click on "+ Template", select the checklist that you want and then press "import" at the bottom. You will now see your checklist with the tasks on the left hand bar.

Assigning Tasks to different advisers

There are two options when assigning tasks to different advisers.

Option 1: While in Trip Planner, go to the left hand side bar and click onto the edit "pencil" icon of the task. This will open the task at which point you can add the date you want the task to be completed on and you can assign the adviser you want to complete it.

Option 2: From the dashboard, under tasks, you can see all the tasks that you have set dates to. Select the task that has nobody assigned to and click onto the action wheel on the right and select 'edit task'. Then you select the advisor and press save.
