Step by Step: Create a Trip to Sharing your Proposal

STARTING

Step 1: In the top left corner of your page, click the red button "Create" from your dashboard and select the 'Trip' option from the pop up that will appear,

NAME YOUR TRIP

Step 2: You will then be asked to pick between Individual or Group. Once you choose one of the two options, you will be directed to the next page so you can add the 'Trip Name'.

ADD YOUR DESTINATION

Step 3: Type in the destination of your trip and this will search google so you can click on the result it finds. This action will provide you with a picture for the backround of your proposal. You can change it later if you want.

ADD DATES TO YOUR TRIP

Step 4: Add dates of travel (if required) and press the pink 'Save' button.

Step 5: Once you are at your 'Planner' page, please adjust your settings from 'LIST VIEW' to 'TAB VIEW' as shown in the screenshot below.

ADD YOUR TRAVELERS

Step 6: Click on the travelers tab to add travelers to your trip if required.

Start typing in the 'Add travelers here' field. That will search your client profiles within PlanitEasy or it will prompt you to select 'add new' if nothing was found.

*If you select 'add new', a pop up will appear. All you need to add is the first and last name plus the primary email address. That's it, just press save on the pop up and now you have added this new traveler to your trip but also to your profiles within PlanitEasy*

Adding travelers to a trip can be done now or you come back to this step at a later point.

CREATE YOUR TRIP RESERVATIONS/SERVICES

Step 7: Click the 'Reservations' tab as shown below. The below screenshot is showing you the 'TAB VIEW' version as listed if you followed 'step 5' above.

RESERVATIONS: Entering Hotel, Transfer, Dining and Tour info

Step 9: The PlanitEasy platform draws from many sources to provide you hotel, location and restaurant information.

Enter the name of your location under hotel name, place name or restaurant name, etc. The details of each location will then be auto-filled by our sources including 10 photos.

Adding content in the description section of each reservation is always a plus, you can copy-paste at will.

NOTE: Remember to check the dates and enter times of each reservation correctly so that they can appear correctly in chronological order on the itinerary. Save your work to the library at the bottom left of each reservation (for future use) and then save the current reservation to close the reservation card.

REVIEW THE CLIENT ITINERARY (After completing your reservations)

Step 10: Click the itinerary that has been created directly under the pink "add new itinerary" on the left hand side to review your work so far.

NOTE: Your itinerary/proposal is an accumulation of the reservations you have made, without the reservations, your itinerary/proposal will be empty.

CUSTOMIZING YOUR PROPOSAL

Step 11: Now that you are in the Client Itinerary page, you can review and select what to keep in your itinerary by toggling the on-off green buttons on the left-hand bar.

You can choose to show or not show prices, suppliers, summaries, and many other fields.

SHARING YOUR PROPOSAL/ITINERARY

Step 12: Once you have decided what to leave in and out of your itinerary, you would press the 'share' button at the very top and choose how to send it. You can either send it as a live link in the body of another email, you can email it directly from our platform, you can send it as a PDF, or you can share the trip to your client who is using the app.
