General Forms Section Vs Trip Planner Forms Section

What is the difference between sending a Travelers Information form from the General Forms Section and the Trip Planner Forms Section.

General Forms:

When you use the link from the General Forms section, it does not automatically add the trip code, because the system doesn't know which trips it is for:

You will see that the Trip code field is blank, this way it can be used for anyone registering for any trip by having the client fill out the trip code.

Trip Planner:

If you copy the form link or send it from the Trip Planner page, then the trip code is added to the form and then it knows to add the travelers to that trip:
