It is necessary to have a Planniac account set up prior to attempting to connect your Cloudbeds account to Planniac.
How to connect with Cloudbeds for the first time
From Cloudbeds side
1. Log in to Cloudbeds
2. Click on "Accounts" (right corner) and go to "App & Marketplace"
3. Search for Planniac
4. Click on the "Connect App" button
5. Authorize Planniac to access your account
6. Once you give your consent to Cloudbeds, you will be redirected to our login page
From Planniac side
1. Log in to Planniac
2. Click on "Settings" (top right corner)
3. Click in PMS Connection
4. Click on Re-Connect Cloudbeds
5. You will be redirected to Cloudbeds and must then provide consent for Planniac to access your Cloudbeds account.
6. Once consent is granted, Planniac will configure your Cloudbeds connection and return you to the Planniac login page.
7. In the unlikely event that your account loses connection with Cloudbeds, repeat the above steps.
Specific functionalities with Cloudbeds
Planniac is seamlessly integrated with Cloudbeds through 2-way connectivity.
As a part of your account setup, once you have connected your Cloudbeds account to your Planniac account, Planniac support staff will import your reservations and guest data from the previous 12 months plus all upcoming reservations and guests.
New reservations / guests and changes to reservations / guests are automatically updated in Planniac within two minutes of being entered or changed in Cloudbeds.
Planniac performs a synchronization with Cloudbeds every 15 minutes in order to retrieve any changes that are not automatically notified to Planniac by Cloudbeds (examples of this are when notes or charges are added to a guest reservation in Cloudbeds).
Once setup is complete, the only data that Planniac writes into Cloudbeds ("sends back" to Cloudbeds) is:
Charges to guest folios and charges to a non-guest house account (if you chose to bill non-guest activities that way).

How to disconnect?
From Planniac side
1. From your Planniac account, go to Settings and click on PMS Connection
2. Under "PMS Connection", click "Disconnect Cloudbeds"
