The easiest way to find your way around Planniac when you're a new user

Welcome to Planniac!

Like a cup of strong coffee, Planniac helps get you going when your shift starts. After you log in, you'll be taken to this home page.

Let's break it down into pieces.

Today's occupancy stats

At a glance, you'll know exactly what's happening today with guests checking in, checking out, and in-house.

What would you like to do?

You might be greeting a guest the second you sit down for your shift. No worries, with just a click you can be assisting guests or staff with their important requests. Just click on one of these links to be taken straight to that tool. Your "How can I help you?" can quickly turn in to "Here you go!"

Planns

Add Activity or Task

Select the Add Planns shortcut to see a menu of activities and tasks to pick from, and then choose one of them to add a plan.

Go to Planns page

You can use this link to go directly to the Planns overview page, which we also call the front desk calendar view.

Guests

Go to Guests page

View all of your guests and their details. From that page you can upload a guest photo, add names of other guests in the room, and more.

Send quick itinerary

It's a super-fast way to send a live itinerary to a guest so they can stay updated on their scheduled activities

Daily Report

This is your "in a nutshell" report. You can read more about that under Reports > Daily Reports.

Tours & Transfers

Have a look at your Tour Calendar and assign in-house drivers and vehicles.

Housekeeping

Add a housekeeping task

If you need to schedule something for housekeepers to do, like a load of guest laundry, start here. It will end up on the housekeeping report as well as their own mobile phone if they are signed in to Planniac.

View/print the housekeeping report

Print it, add notes, mark rooms as clean, or just take a look.

Maintenance

Add a maintenance task that you want to keep track of. Maintenance can also see it on their mobile phones if they log in to Planniac.

Soon you'll have a link to a Maintenance report/tool as well. We're working on that.

Restaurant FOH

This is for your restaurant front-of-house team - the manager, servers, and hosts.

Assign an FOH task

Maybe you need to remind the front-of-house about a large private party that booked out the entire facility. Or you might have a task for special room arrival packages like a bucket of beer or champagne and chocolates.

View/print the restaurant report

The restaurant report lists all of today's guests and their in-house status. Use this link to go straight to that report.

Kitchen

Add a kitchen task

Let the kitchen know well in advance when you need something special for a guest, like a birthday cake or a tour lunch.

View/print the kitchen report

Print this for the kitchen so they can see which in-house guests have food restrictions or allergies, and be aware of any special tasks coming up.

Concierge

This is your shortcut for making concierge arrangements that don't fall under any other category. Recommendations & bookings of off-site restaurants is one of the most common.

Now look what you've done!

Once you start planning like a pro, your to-do list gets shorter and your all-done list gets longer!

You can click on any of these scheduled activities or tasks to see more details or edit them.

How to return to this page

Planniac will automatically return to this page whenever you refresh your browser. You can also return to this page by clicking on the Planniac logo on the top left of your screen.
