Basic itinerary settings

  1. Activate the feature

  2. Select a background color

  3. Upload a banner image (on Admin Settings > Business Information)

  4. Determine which types of information to show

    1. Map / Directions. This will show a Google map pin and will allow the guest to get directions to your property. Your address is set in Admin Settings > Business Information.

    2. Hotel website link. This is simply a link that will take the guest to your website.

    3. Booking/reservations link. This link connects to your PMS booking engine.

    4. Online Offers link. This will give the guest the option to visit your branded Online Offers page.

    5. Hotel Information Guide. Show your guests a customized guide with information about your hotel and area.

Setting up the Hotel Information Guide

Planniac is pre-built with standard fields that you can either use or discard. Click to expand and see details. If you want to start with just a few, you can deactivate the others without completely deleting them.

WiFi is the only section that you are not allowed to delete. That's because there is backend coding that you would not be able to replicate. You can still deactivate it if you don't want to include it on the itineraries.

See below for some specific setup examples.

Wifi section

  1. If you have specific wifi logins for each room, you would set those up in Admin Settings > In-Room WiFi. Then they will appear in this section automatically.

  2. For more general Wifi access, such as "Resort-wide" or "Restaurant" or "Lobby", you set up your own using this tool.

    1. Open the Wifi tab

    2. Click "Add network"

    3. Fill in the fields

    4. Planniac will automatically generate a Wifi code that you can use, and that code will also display in the guest itinerary. The guest will also see the network name, password, and optional access code.

    5. Add more networks if you like. But remember, the room-specific wifi access will show up on the guest itinerary automatically.

Custom text section

You can include formatted text with information that you want to display. If you type a link and hit "enter", it will then appear and function as a link on the guest itinerary.

Sub-tabs

Neatly organize your information using Sub-tabs, as in this example where the main section header is "Transportation" and the types of transportation (Taxi, Local bus) appear as sub-tabs.

Embed (advanced)

Perhaps you have a booking widget for your restaurant or spa. You can add that to Planniac too.
