First, be sure it should be deleted instead of a change of status
If a tour or activity was scheduled and then cancelled, it would be best to simply change to a "cancelled" status. Then you are keeping the history of the booking in case there are questions about it from the guest or a supervisor.
However, sometimes an activity is accidentally duplicated or assigned to the wrong guest. In that case there is a simple solution.
Deleting an activity planned by mistake
There are two ways to delete an activity that was added to Planniac by mistake.
Open the activity and use the red "Delete" button.
An Admin user (level 5 or 6) can hover over the row on the Planns screen and they will see a trash bin icon. Clicking this icon will delete the activity. This is intentionally hidden from users at Level 4 or below to prevent inadvertent deletions.
Why can't I delete a Plann?
The possible reasons you can't remove a planned activity or task are:
You don't have a high enough access level to do so
It could be there has already been a payment method applied. You would need to go in to the activity, remove the payment method that had been selected, save your changes, and then delete. For accountability reasons, you can't delete a Plann when a payment has already been applied, unless you revert it.
