How to get past tours or other activities off the dashboard

What to do when plans from a prior date are still showing on the PLANNS screen

Are you wondering how to archive old plans that are still showing on the dashboard? There are two main reasons this might be happening:

Firstly, if you have Planns that are showing for dates prior to today, that means a payment method has not been applied. You can see that by the last column. If there is a balance, it means there is an amount that needs to be settled or reconciled. Zero-price activities will go away on their own.

Secondly, if they are Task types such as housekeeping tasks, it could be that the status needs to be changed to Done or Done & Hide.

Plans will automatically leave the dashboard once the date of the activity has passed, as long as a payment method has been applied.

If you need to review something that was done in the past, use the dropdown menu from the PLANNS tab and it will give you the option to go back 7 days, back 30 days or back 1 year. You can also select "Show Hidden" in case you had selected a "hidden" status.

While Planniac does allow you to delete activities, we strongly recommend that you don't do that. You would lose all that historical information that might be useful in the future. Instead, if you want an activity to be archived, you could change the status to "Cancelled" and provide a reason in the notes.
