If you offer paid or complimentary things to your guests such as kayaks, bikes, or other rentals, we recommend using the Rentals activity type on Planniac. This will allow you to easily track these activities on the Planns screen and have them appear on the guest's itinerary. In this article, we will explain how to set up and use the Rentals activity type on Planniac.

To use the Rentals activity type, you will first need to set it up in the Resources section. This can be done by following these steps:

Even if you don't charge for the rentals, we still recommend using the Rentals activity type. In this case, you will need to tick the "Zero Price" option on the pricing matrix. This will ensure that the rental appears on the guest's itinerary without an associated cost. For example, if the hotel itself is the supplier/vendor for the rental, you can select it from the list of Resources.

If there is a cost to the guest for the rental, you can enter the price on the pricing table. This will ensure that the guest is charged for the rental and it appears on their itinerary with the cost. You can also select the supplier/vendor for the rental from the list provided.
