Overview
When you refer a friend to Plasma One and they sign up using your code, you both become eligible for referral bonuses. You also earn referral cashback on their eligible card purchases for a set period after they join.
For privacy reasons, details about your referred friend’s account activity, such as spending habits, are not shared.
How to refer a friend
Go to the Tiers tab in the app
Tap Invite Friends
Select a code from your available codes
Tap to copy your referral link and share it with your friend
How many friends can I refer?
There is no cap on the number of friends you can refer. However, referral codes are earned through your activity on the app. You can see how many codes you have available in the Invite Friends section of the Tiers tab.
Custom Referral Codes
Plasma allows users to request a custom referral code for a more personalized experience. The custom code must be exactly six characters long and can include your name, brand, or handle. This feature enables users to make their referral codes more memorable and aligned with their personal or professional identity.

What happens after my friend signs up?
Once your friend signs up with your code as a new user, completes identity verification, activates a card, and makes a first eligible purchase, the referral qualifies and you start earning referral cashback. Plasma may decline referrals for suspected self-referral or other prohibited activity.
You can track the status of your referrals and any earned rewards in the Rewards section of the Plasma app.
The referral cashback period starts fresh for every friend you refer, from the moment each one joins.
Referral bonuses are paid out weekly, with accrued rewards credited to your balance on a specific day each week. However, there may be delays due to routine account reviews, during which bonuses remain intact and are released once the review concludes. Standard cashback rewards are not affected by these reviews.
