Overview
The Platter Back Office is where you configure and manage your restaurant’s operations. This includes setting up your menu, managing settings, creating discounts, controlling user permissions, and overseeing reports. The Back Office is one core part of the Platter system, while the Platter POS app is available on both iOS and Android devices. Together, they let you manage your restaurant’s setup in the Back Office and handle daily operations in the POS app.
Prerequisites
A supported device with a stable and secure internet connection
Google Chrome is installed on your iOS or Android device
Valid Platter Back Office login credentials
Steps
1. Connect to the Internet

2. Download Google Chrome
iOS (iPhone/iPad)
Open the App Store
Search for Google Chrome
Tap Get
Tap Install, then wait for the download to finish
Android
Open the Google Play Store
Search for Google Chrome
Tap Install
Wait for the installation to complete
3. Log in to the Back Office
Open the Chrome browser
Enter your login credentials
If you have multiple locations, select your location
Your Back Office dashboard will appear on the screen
Troubleshooting
If the login page does not load, check your internet connection
Verify that your username and password are correct
If you manage multiple locations, confirm that the correct location is selected
Restart Chrome if the dashboard does not load properly
