Login to ubbu as a student

How students login to ubbu, in individual or pair mode.

Written by Leandra Santos

All ubbu lessons are designed to be done individually or in pairs.

Unlike teachers, students log in with a username and a password, which is initially the same for the whole class.

You can check your class's original password by clicking ‱‱‱Options for the class and then Class Management. This takes you to a page with each student's details, as well as the class's original password.

Students access the platform at play.ubbu.io. To login individually, they need to enter their username and then their password.

If your class is split into pairs, here are the steps for your students to log in as a pair on the platform:

When they reach ubbu's main page, one of the students enters their username. Clicking Continue brings up the option to login with two students.

Once both have entered their username and respective passwords, they'll be logged into the platform and ready to do activities.

All exercises completed by students, even when logging in as a pair, are shown individually in the final report generated after the lesson is completed. To learn more about this report, see this article.

To find out how to change a student's password or reset it if they forget it, see this article.

Can students do lessons at home?

Your students can login to ubbu outside the classroom. They just need to access the platform and log in with their username and password, as usual.

Once logged in, they can complete exercises, quizzes, and watch videos that have already been shown in lessons.

Some content and lessons appear locked, shown in gray on the lesson map, because they haven't been taught by a teacher yet. Once you unlock and teach a lesson with your class, all the resources in that lesson become unlocked, and students can redo the lesson.
