It's official, a new school year has arrived, so welcome back!
When returning to ubbu, teachers often have a few questions about managing their classes. Here are some of the most frequently asked questions, along with our guidance to help you get started again:
If you're keeping your classes and students: you don't need to create a new one. We've already automatically updated the school year and curriculum. If needed, you can also update the name to reflect the new school year.
If a class stops using ubbu: you can archive it and, later on, recover it if needed through your profile, in the Archived classes tab. If the class stays on ubbu but with a different teacher, you can ask your institution's Manager Teacher to move the class to the new teacher. To learn more, click here.
If a student is transferred between classes: this transfer can also be done on ubbu. To learn more, click here.
If you have new students: if it's just a few students, you can add them to your existing classes. If you have a whole new class, you can create it from scratch. If you need more licenses, email us at hello@ubbu.io or click the Talk to us button.
Teacher manager
Are you a Manager Teacher at your institution? If so, you have extra features that let you create and edit teacher accounts, or add and remove them from your school group's classes. To find out more, click here.

Real names on password cards and exported results
If you've linked your students' real names to their usernames, those names will now also appear on password cards and in the Excel file you export with your classes' results.
A new Curriculum Overview
The 26/27 curriculum brings a new structure, designed to make your planning even simpler. A clear curriculum for each year, review and consolidation lessons at the start of each year, and unplugged activities for younger students. Explore the new Curriculum Overview at ubbu.io.
Module Review
At the end of each module, your students now have access to an automatic quiz that helps them consolidate what they've learned. To learn more, click here.
Challenges within the lesson path
You'll now find Challenges built directly into your students' lesson path, letting them apply what they've learned in a hands-on way, without leaving the curriculum.
Updating progress
It's now possible to manually update a lesson's progress, either as a teacher or a student, whenever the status shown isn't in sync. To learn more, click here.
