If you're a Plezi Star user and want to set up your first Workflow, you've come to the right place!
Prerequisites:
You have a clear idea of the workflow you want to set up: its objective, its target and its path.
To target your pre-existing Plezi contact base, you'll need to import and segment it.
Bonus: You now have at least one campaign template to make your life easier when creating your workflow emails.
Let's create a first Workflow together
- Go to Emailings => Workflow => Add a Workflow
- Give your workflow a name
Step 1: Define a trigger
- Choose the trigger event (1):
The workflow trigger is the event, action or condition that triggers all the automated tasks in the workflow. There are currently 4 triggers:
Became lead: any person submitting a form on your site for the first time will enter the workflow.
Became MQL: anyone who achieves MQL status thanks to their score will enter the workflow.
Has submitted the form: anyone who has submitted a form linked to your contact form will enter the workflow.
Has requested the resource: anyone who has requested content or resources via downloadable content will enter the workflow.
For the moment, these four triggers only concern future Leads or MQLs after the launch of your workflow, and do not take into account contacts who had these statuses before the launch of your workflow.
- Select an audience (2):
If you want to target a certain part of your contact base, you need to select a segment, or create one.
Step 2: Create an email associated with your workflow
To integrate the sending of an email into your workflow, you have two options:
You can activate the option "My e-mail concerns a resource."
Or create an email by simply clicking on Create an Email.
You also have the "Edit" and "Preview" options, which return you to the editor.
Step 3: Organize the sequence of your e-mails with deadlines and conditions
a) Set up your delay:
Workflows are particularly useful for sending e-mail sequences based on specific behaviors without spamming leads.
Delays are essential if you want to send a series of e-mails to avoid spamming your leads.
The default delay is 1 day, which can be customized by clicking on delay.
b) Add a condition in your workflow:
Workflow conditions in Plezi Plus are specified according to recipients' interactions with sent emails.
Clicked on email or did not click
Opened an email or did not open
If your email concerns a resource and therefore with a contact form, the option below will be present:
Form submitted or form not submitted
If your email concerns a resource and therefore with a premium content, the option below will be present:
Requested content or content not requested
For the last two conditions: Submitted a form / Did not submit a form or Requested content / Did not request content, you need to specify, using the toggle switch, that the email concerne a resource, then select the form or premium content resource.
Step 4: Notify your users
You have the option of being notified if the contact passes through a condition.
You can notify:
A user or users from your account;
Up to 10 external users;
When your workflow is ready, you can launch it!

Good to know
Each time the trigger occurs, the contact concerned enters your workflow!
Here are a few conditions to ensure that your workflow runs smoothly!
No empty blocks, and no workflow starting with a condition.
No sequence of emails with no delay or condition between them, or workflows ending with a delay
Current WF trigger events only apply to future leads and MQLs.

Tips & Tricks:
The trigger must be configured before adding an email block.
You can edit your workflow even while it's active, and even restart it after pausing it.
Your leads can only enter the workflow once. This means that if a person reaches the MQL threshold and then you increase it, your lead will lose its status but will not enter the workflow a second time if it reaches the new threshold to qualify as MQL again.
