Objective of this article:

  • To enable you to send your MQLs from Plezi to Pipedrive via Zapier.

Prerequisites

  • Have a Zapier account.

  • Accept the invitation to create a Zap

When you create a new zap, you always arrive on the modular interface. The screen is divided into two parts, giving you an overview on the left, and a more detailed view on the right.

Define the direction of your Zap

First you need to define the TRIGGER, i.e. the triggering element, and then the ACTION you want to perform.

Step 1: Indicate Plezi as trigger

In the search bar, click on the PLezi version "Plezi(Plus & Star) Latest" as shown below:

Choose the event from the drop-down list: in our case, it's MQL contacts.

Authenticate your account

In the pop-up window, insert the two Zapier API keys you copied (Key and Secret Key).

Test your Trigger by creating "MQL" contact tests on your Plezi account

In our case, we will send this contact test, which is currently in MQL status

Step 2: Pipedrive as an Action

In the search bar, find Pipedrive

Select the event in App and Event: Select the "created Lead" event

In our case, we want to create the contact who is currently MQL in Pipedrive

Authenticate your account

  • If the account has not been authenticated, connect your account

  • Or click on Change to select another account

In the Action block, add:

  • Title: Select the field you want to appear in your lead's information. e.g. last name.

    ▶️ This field is mandatory and is the one that will appear in your Pipedrive once the contact has been brought up;

  • The other fields are optional and reflect the pre-configured values in CRM.

And finally, click on Test

You should find your contact details in your Pipedrive, as shown below:

Don't forget to publish your Zap in order to activate it
