What a restricted user can and can't do
Restricted admins are designed to allow people to do the tasks they need to on plinth, like take registers and new information, without them being able to access personal information. Restricted access prevents admins from:
Seeing client/member/service user information other than specific chosen fields
Creating or editing registration forms
Adding info to a client/member/service through the register tab
Apart from that, they have the same access as any other admin.
Below are some details on what that means and how to make someone a restricted user.
How to make someone a restricted user
First, go to the Settings page by clicking on "Options" in the bottom left corner and then "Settings".
Select "Admins" on the top row and then you will see all of your admins. You can then make selected admins restricted by clicking on the dropdown options.

How to make a field visible to restricted users
If you go to the edit fields page (this article explains more), there is a button that says "Show for restricted users"
If you tick that box, that field will be visible for restricted users.
