Nowadays, more and more Home Energy Management Systems (EMS) are available on the market to optimise energy consumption at home. Their applications vary depending on the system, for example: improving self-consumption of solar panels, managing dynamic energy tariffs, considering capacity tariffs, etc.

The smart charging stations installed by Pluginvest are compatible with several of these systems. However, since we cannot offer and maintain all the systems available on the market, we limit ourselves to the following solutions:

  • Easily Charged: our cloud-based EMS solution that controls your smart charging station while considering the battery status of your vehicle. More info here: https://www.pluginvest.eu/download/easily-charged-applicatie

  • Smart load balancing solutions from manufacturers Alfen & Zaptec

  • Industrial EMS systems, which we offer for specific projects

If you want to activate and connect your own EMS, you can do so via the following solutions:

  • Control via MODBUS for Alfen Pro-line or S-line stations: this requires an Active Load Balancing license and access, for you or your installer, to the Alfen Installer software to configure the device.

  • Cloud-based control for a Zaptec Go charging station

  • OCPP-based control directly on the device, especially if you receive reimbursement for your home charging sessions from your employer. This OCPP integration is used to transmit charging session data to the reimbursement platform.
