Can I install multiple Plugzio devices on a single circuit?

Updated over a month ago

Dedicated Breaker Requirements

  • You can install as many Plugzio Level 2 EVSE chargers as you like on one breaker, provided that the breaker is dedicated solely to the Plugzio units. In other words, a dedicated breaker can support multiple Plugzio Level 2 EVSE chargers without overloading as long as other appliances are not drawing power from the same breaker.

  • Any additional load from other non-Plugzio devices would require a separate breaker or circuit to ensure proper power distribution.

  • For a Plugzio Universal Plus, which requires a dedicated 20A breaker, installing two or more of them on the same breaker is possible with load balancing. However, this setup will allow only one device to be used at a time, meaning multiple chargers cannot operate simultaneously

Important Note: Consult with a qualified electrician or local authority to confirm the correct installation practices and compliance requirements in your area.
