Hi from the Plumb's team! Each month, we share these notes to keep you informed about what's happened behind the scenes at Plumb's. You'll find information on new and updated content, feature enhancements, functionality improvements, bug fixes, and more.
Here’s a roundup of key updates from May.
Content Updates
The following updates cover content in Plumb’s Veterinary Drugs (prescribing information only) and Plumb’s Pro (diagnostic and treatment information + prescribing information).
Our editorial team has been hard at work this month with our extensive network of board-certified specialists and peer reviewers to release new Dx & Tx monographs (Pro), provide crucial updates on drugs, and get new handouts into your hands for clients.
Spotlight: New Dx & Tx on Neutropenia
What do cats and greyhounds have in common when it comes to neutropenia? Are prophylactic antibiotics a given when neutrophils are nowhere to be found on your CBC? Our new monograph on neutropenia answers these questions and provides all the details you need to know about this serious hematopathological finding.
If you’re subscribed to Plumb’s Pro, you can find this new Dx & Tx monograph with a quick search in the app or click here to dive right in.

A New Home for Help
Help has moved in the web app! Previously, the Help Center and Support links were located in the Profile menu. We’ve shifted them into a new support-specific menu, denoted with a question mark.
In this menu, you’ll find:
A quick link to our Help Center, where you can watch tutorial videos, troubleshoot issues, and get answers to FAQs
A link to our support form, so you can send us an email if you have questions or need help from our support team
When we release new features, make changes to existing features, or have useful information to share that will improve your experience with Plumb’s, we’ll link tips and tours in this menu as well. You’ll see them pop up above the Help Center and Support buttons, and clicking on them will typically launch a brief tour.
💡Tip
In our updates, you’ll see “web app” and “native app” refer to the two different platforms you can use to access Plumb’s. Here’s the difference:
Web app: Available via app.plumbs.com on any browser (eg, Google Chrome, Safari), whether you’re using a computer or your phone
Native app: An app that you download for your Apple or Android phone or tablet
When changes are only relevant to one platform, we’ll specify. But remember: All new and updated content appears on the web and native apps simultaneously, so no matter which platform you use, you always have the most up-to-date Plumb’s.
