Setting up your Data Sources

Connecting your marketing and ecommerce platforms to Polar allows you to sync your data seamlessly and unlock richer reporting across your dashboards. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to connect the most common integrations—Shopify, Meta (Facebook Ads), and Google Ads —using the Polar MCP connection flow. Each step includes screenshots to help you complete the setup quickly and confidently.


Connect to Shopify

1. Add a new Shopify connection

Go to https://app.polaranalytics.com/mcp then click on “Connect to Polar Analytics” in the Start data sync tile:

2. Continue to add the Polar app to your Shopify store

Click “Connect to Polar Analytics” to add the Polar Shopify app to your store:

3. Install the Polar Shopify app

Click “Install” to add the Polar app to your store:

4. Validate the installation on Shopify

Shopify will ask you to validate the installation, click on “Install”:

5. Your Shopify store is now connected to Polar!

Congrats! You can verify your store is connected by seeing the little “1” next to the Shopify icon, meaning you have 1 active connection to Shopify:


Connect to Meta (Facebook Ads)

1. Add a new Meta connection

Go to https://app.polaranalytics.com/mcp then click on “Connect to Polar Analytics” in the Start data sync tile:

2. Give access to Polar on your Meta account

Click “Connect” to give access to Polar on Meta:

3. Your Meta account is now connected to Polar!

Congrats! You can verify your store is connected by seeing the little “1” next to the Facebook icon, meaning you have 1 active connection to Meta:


Connect to Google Ads

1. Add a new Google connection

Go to https://app.polaranalytics.com/mcp then click on “Connect to Polar Analytics” in the Start data sync tile:

2. Give access to Polar on your Google account

Click “Continue” to give access to Polar on Google:

3. Your Google account is now connected to Polar!

Congrats! You can verify your store is connected by seeing the little “1” next to the Google icon, meaning you have 1 active connection to Google:


Once your Shopify and Meta accounts are connected, Polar will begin syncing your data automatically, ensuring your reports stay up-to-date without any manual work. You can confirm successful connections from the MCP dashboard, and you’ll see the corresponding platform icons update when a new integration is active.
