Installing the Polar MCP on a paid Claude plan
Add the Polar Connector
Go to claude.ai or Claude Desktop > Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector
On team plans, do this on the Organization connectors tab (you need to be Workspace Owner or Primary Owner in Claude Team to be able to setup MCP connectors).
Enter MCP details
MCP Name: Polar
Remote MCP Server URL:https://api.polaranalytics.com/mcpComplete the connection by selecting "Connect" by the Polar Connector
Team plans: switch to Your connectors to do this
Sign up for Polar, or sign into your account if you have one created already
Allow Claude to access your Polar data
If you're new to Polar, you'll be asked to connect some data sources.
Wait for email confirmation that at least one data source has synced. The initial historical data sync can take up to 24 hours for new Polar customers.
Start a new chat, and ensure the Polar connector is enabled in Claude.
Allow the tools to run the first time
In Claude, input a prompt in the question field to generate an account-specific response.
Installing the Polar MCP on a Free Claude account
Only Supported on the Claude Desktop app
Download this .dxt file and run it. Double click to open it in Claude.
If it doesn’t open:Go to Extensions > Advanced Settings
Click “Install extension” and choose for the
.dxt file you downloaded.
Click "Install" to add Polar to Claude
Click "Install" again to complete the installation
Add your Polar API key
Generate an API keyEnable the tool
Dismiss the tool's configuration panel
If you're new to Polar, sync your data to the MCP.
