With Custom Datasets, you can fully customize metrics and dimensions from Google Analytics that you'd like to add to Polar (on top of the already existing metrics and dimensions that we have from Google Analytics 4 by default).

Step 1. Navigate to your Connectors Page > Google Analytics 4 > Select Configure.

Step 2. Select "Custom Datasets" in the top right corner.

Step 3. Click on "+Add Custom Dataset"

Step 4. Add the Metrics and Breakdowns you'd like to add and name your dataset.

Step 5. After you save your metric you won't be able to edit it - make sure you set it up correctly before saving!

Step 6. Your data will be available with the next data refresh under Google Analytics metrics.
