If you have an error while connecting your Google Analytics account to the app, it's most likely a permission issue.
Make sure you have the necessary user rights to your Google Analytics account. Here is more on user permissions on GA.
Log in to your GA account on Polar with the email address that has access to that GA account (for example, the email address I use on Polar is email@example.com but the email address that has access to my GA account is firstname.lastname@example.org. When I try to connect my GA connector on Polar, I will use email@example.com)
If the connector shows "Select your accounts" in orange and then you see the list of accounts not appearing, that means there is a permission issue and you have most likely logged into GA with a login that doesn't have the correct permissions.
When you go through the authentication process when you connect your account, you need to check all permissions boxes, so we can access the data
If there is no data on your Google Analytics account, you won't be able to connect it. Try to reconnect it to Polar once you launched your GA account and you should see your account appear in the connector settings.
We also support GA 4 as a connector. To check if you have GA 4 set up, you can check in your Google Analytics account. In the account selection dropdown, A "GA4" will be next to the name.
