Yes, you can refund customers the shipping fees paid for their Shopify order when resolving a return in PostCo. This is useful when you want to fully refund an order, meet local refund requirements, or offer a better customer experience for cases like damaged or incorrect items.

How this works
When resolving a return, you will see a refund shipping checkbox at the bottom of the pop-up window. You can choose to refund customers the full amount, or enter a smaller amount if you only want to issue a partial shipping refund.
Frequently asked questions
Can I refund customers their shipping fees if they opt for an exchange?
Yes, you can refund the shipping fee for customer's original Shopify order both regular returns and exchange order returns.
Why can’t I see the 'Refund shipping' option when resolving a return?
This option only appears when the original Shopify order has refundable shipping fee remaining. If the shipping has been fully refunded, this option will not be shown.
Can I refund only part of the shipping fee?
Yes, you can enter a smaller amount if you only want to refund part of the shipping fee to the customer.
Can I refund more than the remaining shipping amount?
You can only refund up to the maximum refundable shipping amount available on that order.
Can this option be selected by default?
Yes, this checkbox can be enabled by default. Please reach out to our team at support@postco.co to set this up.
