Executive Summary
This SOP provides a step-by-step procedure to safely remove and replace the SD card on the Poursteady PS1. THIS SHOULD ONLY BE PERFORMED WHEN INSTRUCTED BY A POURSTEADY TECHNICIAN AND A NEW SD CARD IS PROVIDED BY STEADY EQUIPMENT CORP (DBA POURSTEADY).
A. Process Overview
Purpose: To guide users in replacing the SD card on a Poursteady PS1.
When Used: When troubleshooting, upgrading, or replacing a corrupted SD card.
Expected Outcome: Successful replacement of the SD card and reboot of the system without data loss or power issues.
B. Prerequisites & Preparation
Permissions Required: Access to hardware components (authorized technician only)
Tools Needed: Phillips head screwdriver, replacement SD card
Safety Measures: Ensure PS1 is completely powered off and unplugged before proceeding
C. Step-by-Step Procedures
Power Down & Unplug
Turn off the PS1 and ensure the unit is completely unplugged from the power source.
Access the "Smart" Side Sheet End
Face the front panel (where the buttons are).
Identify the left side panel (smart side).
Remove the two top screws with caps.
Continue by removing all eight screws securing the sheet end.
While removing the final screw, hold the panel securely to avoid it falling. Lift the panel upward to expose internal electronics.
Confirm Power Is Off
Verify there are no power lights on inside the unit.
Remove Old SD Card
Use the corner of the new SD card to gently press the existing SD card until it clicks and pops out.
Remove the old SD card and set it aside.
Install New SD Card
Insert the new SD card into the slot until it clicks into place.
Ensure the gold pins are facing outward toward you.
(Note it will only fit if orientation is correct)
Reassemble the Unit
Carefully align and reattach the smart side panel.
Reinsert and tighten all screws in the reverse order.
Plug the unit back in and allow it to reboot.
Reconnect Wi-Fi (if needed)

D. Quality Control & Verification
Confirm power lights turn on after reboot.
Test Wi-Fi connectivity and perform a functionality check.
