Easily find and use lists other Power Spelling clients have created and shared. Sort lists by type (spelling or vocabulary), status (active or inactive), or grade level. Use the lists as they are to quickly assign tests and games, or make a copy of a public list then edit the list to meet your child's needs.
Accessing Public Word Lists
Click on Public Word Lists from the left menu.
Use the dropdown menus and More Filters button to filter by type, status, or grade level.
You can assign a game, test or print the list by clicking on the blue buttons to the right of the word list title.
Click on the underlined title of a list to preview the word list.
Previewing the Words and Sentences or Definitions
Example: This spelling list has 12 words. Scroll down to read each word and sentence. Click on the speaker icon to hear each word and sentence read aloud.
You now have the option to:
Assign Games or Tests using this exact list.
Print the list, with or without sentences or definitions included.
Make a copy of the list. Making a copy of a list will allow you to edit the list before creating assignments. You will have the option to edit the title, add or delete words, and edit sentences or definitions. Copied lists will appear in My Words Lists on the left menu.
Preview the list. This is how students will see the list on tests and in practice.
