De-identifying or Deleting Sessions and Files

PractaLuma makes it easy to control what data you keep or remove — especially when handling sensitive or test content.

1. De-identify a session or note

  • Go to the session or document you wish to anonymise

  • Click “More Options” → “De-identify”

  • This removes names and identifiers from the transcript and generated note

2. Permanently delete a session

  • Click “More Options” on the session timeline

  • Select “Delete Session” — this action is permanent and cannot be undone

  • All related recordings, transcriptions, and notes will be removed

3. File deletion

  • For uploaded files, go to the client’s Files tab

  • Click the trash icon to permanently delete an item
