Since our platform uses real-time voice processing to help you learn languages, it requires clear audio input and specific device permissions to function. Most audio issues are caused by incorrect settings or external hardware interference!
Solutions to Try First
1. Check the Microphone Button
To speak to your avatar, you need to interact with the blue microphone button correctly.
Try holding the button while you speak.
Alternatively, hold and slide up the button to "lock" it for longer responses.
2. Check Permissions & Hardware
The app cannot hear you if it doesn't have permission to access your microphone.
Permissions: Go to your phone's Settings > Apps > Praktika > Permissions and ensure the Microphone is enabled. The links below might be useful!

Physical Blockage: Ensure your phone’s microphone isn't blocked by a case, dust, or your hand.
3. Environmental & Device Interference
External factors can often disrupt the AI's ability to process your voice.
Noisy Environments: If there is too much background noise where you're studying, the voice recognition may get a bit confused. Try practicing in a quiet space.
Bluetooth & CarPlay: If you are connected to a car system or Bluetooth headphones, the audio might be routed incorrectly. Try disconnecting these devices to see if it resolves the issue.
4. App Maintenance
Sometimes a fresh start is all the app needs to sync properly.
Update: Visit the App Store or Google Play Store to ensure you are on the latest version.
Reinstall: If the issue persists, try uninstalling and then reinstalling Praktika. This often clears deep-seated configuration errors.
