Lexmark Launch

We are officially launching four Lexmark products within XBS, applicable for 1G and VQ. These products will continue to be purchased through a distributor (TD Synnex) using special pricing provided by Lexmark.

Please note: Xerox and Lexmark remain separate entities, and there are clearly defined rules regarding what we can and cannot do. It is critical that you understand the operational do's and don'ts before submitting a deal to ensure both compliance and speed of sale.


PREO (1G) Processing Guidelines

  • Lexmark products must be submitted on their own Sales Order / PREO Job Number.

    • They cannot be bundled with any other products (Xerox or third-party).

    • This is due to strict discounting logic required to align Xerox with Lexmark GTM offerings and for revenue recognition purposes.

    • Standard discounting empowerments and approval processes still apply.

  • Two Post-Sale Plans (CPC) will be offered per Lexmark product.

    • These cannot be discounted (NN & Current Customer Rates), nor can custom pricing be created.

    • This ensures alignment with Lexmark GTM offerings.

    • For large deals (e.g., more than 20 units, including Xerox), discount requests must be approved by your Regional CFO (Claire or Lisa).

  • Lexmark products must be placed on a new contract.

    • They cannot be added to existing contracts.

    • This is required to comply with the single post-sale service plan and the approval flow in PREO.

  • Lexmark orders MUST be submitted on the Lexmark Order Type.

Important: PREO reporting will be used to monitor compliance. Any Sales Orders or PREO Job Numbers that do not follow these guidelines will be rejected.


VQ (3G–6G) Processing Guidelines (Non-Standard Process)

  • Pricing will be provided via TPOTC (third-party process):

    • Base Business Deals:

      • The quote will include pricing for equipment, requested options, and warranty.

      • Supplies must be purchased directly from Lexmark.com.

      • The quoted price may be added as an extra financed amount on Xerox units within the same deal.

    • Services Deals:

      • The TPOTC quote will include cost and pricing details required for entry into a ValueQuix services worksheet.

      • An NX post-sale PPI for service and supplies will be included as part of the business case.

Note: These products cannot be added to the contract management system for MAC and BPA contracts, as they are not available in ValueQuix or other systems.
