Requirements for Existing Devices on Contract

General Requirements (Applies to ALL Devices)

1. Start Meter Reads Are Required

  • Start meter readings are required for every device, no exceptions.

  • Meter reads must reflect the current total counts at the time coverage begins.

📌 Coverage cannot start without valid meter reads.


Devices NOT on Contract Within the Last 6 Months

If the device has not been on contract with us in the past 6 months, additional documentation is required.

2. Configuration Pages or Customer Confirmation

One of the following is required:

  • Configuration pages from the device which shows start meters, serial number and make/model.

📌 This confirms device specs and current condition before coverage begins.


⚠️ Non‑Printer Devices (Copiers, Wide Format, etc.)

If the devices being added are anything other than printers AND they have not been on contract in the past 6 months:

3. Chargeable Service Call Is Required

  • A billable service call is required to:

    • Inspect the device

    • Bring it up to service standards

  • This must be completed before coverage starts

Important:
After the service call is completed, Rule #2 above still applies
(configuration pages or qualifying customer email confirmation are still required).
