The goal for the Device Inclusive program is to charge a monthly fee for a unit through the Service/MPS program instead of charging an upfront price like a traditional sale.
The steps below will enable you to:
Show the device on the SSA
Show the device as a "Service Only" asset on the Lease Agreement
Add a fee to your Service/MPS program
NOTE: XBS SW should NOT use the "Hardware as a Service (HAAS)" program in PREO. Using this program will calculate the Device Inclusive cost incorrectly.
Steps to use the XBS Southwest Device Inclusive Program
Add an eligible item and remove the checkbox for "Include in Payment"
This can also be updated after an item is added to a proposal by using the edit menu:
On your Service or MPS contract, Add a Misc. Charge for the appropriate Device Inclusive Fee ($15/25/30)
If applicable, update your Service Program on the device
Generate documents and verify SSA and Lease Agreement are accurate
