Introduction: We’ve made some exciting updates to our application to help you manage customer information more effectively and speed up the credit approval process. Here’s what you need to know.

Key Features:

  1. "Sold To" Customer as the Primary Focus:

    • Going forward, the "Sold To" customer will be the primary customer on all proposals, replacing the "Bill To" customer as the main point of reference.

    • This change means that all your paperwork and credit approvals will use the "Sold To" customer details, ensuring consistency across all documents.

  2. Customer Information Validation Wizard:

    • We’ve added a new wizard to help you validate customer information more easily.

    • The wizard integrates with Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) to verify "Sold To" and "Bill To" customer details.

    • If multiple matches are found, you’ll be able to choose the correct customer from a list provided by D&B, helping you to ensure that all data is accurate before moving forward with credit approvals.

  3. Faster Cash Credit Approvals via eCredit:

    • Cash credit approvals are now faster than ever! They’re automatically sent to eCredit via an API, often resulting in real-time approval.

    • This means you can get credit approvals done much faster, without waiting for the Order Processing team to send requests on your behalf.

    • Depending on the outcome, eCredit might approve, conditionally approve, or reject the request. You’ll see all these updates automatically in the system, along with the necessary credit approval documentation.

  4. Credit Hold Management:

    • Before a cash credit approval is sent to eCredit, the system checks if the customer is on credit hold in E-Automate.

    • If a credit hold is in place, the system will automatically create a request that the collections team needs to resolve before you can proceed.

    • Once the hold is lifted, you can continue with the credit approval process right from the PREO request page.

Conclusion: These updates are designed to make your job easier by improving accuracy and speeding up the credit approval process. If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to the support team.
