A Quick Overview of the Settings

Updated over a week ago

Once your preorders are active, it’s time to fine-tune how they work using the PreOrder Now Settings.

Here’s a quick walkthrough of each tab so you know where to go when you’re ready to customize:

Default Settings

Here, you’ll find options to enable preorders for all products, adjust how and when the preorder button appears, and control the visibility on product pages. You can also set tags for preorder orders, manage basic inventory behavior, and add optional discounts or warnings to guide your customers through the checkout experience.

Advanced Settings

This tab is where you’ll handle compatibility and tracking. You can select your theme for better integration, set your timezone for scheduling accuracy, and tweak things like button text or Google Analytics tracking. It also includes translation and custom selector options for more advanced setups.

Email Settings

If you'd like to notify customers when they place a preorder, this tab lets you enable and customize those emails. You can edit the template, verify your sender email, and even send yourself a test message to preview what your customers will see. There's also a limit control to manage how many emails are sent each month.
