By default, the Preorder Confirmation Email feature in the PreOrder Now app is turned off. Customers will only receive the standard order confirmation email from Shopify.
If you'd like to send a separate preorder confirmation email, here's how to set it up:
Open the PreOrder Now app from your Shopify admin.
Go to the Settings tab, then click on the Email section.
Enable the "Email notifications" feature.
Customize your email template to include useful info like expected shipping dates or preorder terms.
Note:
This email will be sent in addition to Shopify’s regular order confirmation.
Enabling this feature costs $1 per 100 emails sent.
This is a great way to keep your customers informed and set the right expectations for preorder items.
