Cloudbeds and Pricepoint can show different ADR (Average Daily Rate) figures for the same reservation — this isn't an error, it's because each system calculates ADR differently.
Why do Cloudbeds and Pricepoint show different ADR figures?
Cloudbeds calculates ADR for a specific night based on the price actually booked for that night.
Pricepoint calculates ADR for a specific night based on the reservation's total price divided by the total number of nights booked.
Example:
A guest books a room for 2 nights (check-in Jan 1, check-out Jan 3). The price for Jan 1 is $100, and the price for Jan 2 is $150 — a reservation total of $250.
Cloudbeds shows: Jan 1 = $100, Jan 2 = $150
Pricepoint shows: Jan 1 and Jan 2 = $125 each ($250 ÷ 2 nights)
Neither figure is incorrect — Cloudbeds reflects the actual nightly price booked, while Pricepoint spreads the total evenly across the stay. When comparing ADR between the two systems, this is the difference to keep in mind.
