When you click the ⓘ info icon on any day in the Calendar, a breakdown appears showing the specific factors Pricepoint considered when calculating that day's optimal price.
These factors are split into two groups: primary factors, which have the strongest impact on the price, and secondary factors, which have a lighter influence.
Primary Factors
Pace Factor: the rhythm of your sales, how quickly reservations are coming in. Five reservations received within an hour has a different impact than five reservations spread across three days.
Occupancy Factor: your occupancy for that specific day.
Booking Window Factor: how much time is left to sell the room before the stay date arrives.
Secondary Factors
Event Factor: if you have an active event set up for that date, it will influence the price.
Booking Curve Factor: analyzes current booking trend, compares it to the previous year and previous period, and groups similar days together (which may fall on different calendar dates) to expect similar behavior.
Seasonality: reflects seasonal booking patterns, based on historical data for that date, day of the week, and time of year.
Each factor is shown with an arrow and percentage indicating whether it pushed the price up (green, ▲), down (red, ▼), or had no effect (=, 0.00%).
