How to Read the Calendar

How to read the Calendar's summary cards, daily price cells, and icons, including what the checkmark, red/blue pricing, italics and sold-out states mean.

What do the top summary cards show?

  • On the Books: current confirmed revenue for the month, compared to the same time last year

  • Forecast IQ: Pricepoint's AI prediction of how the month will end

  • RevPAR1 / RevPAR2: two ways of calculating RevPAR (see ADR and RevPAR)

  • Occupancy: shown for the whole property (building icon) and for the selected room type (bed icon)

  • ADR: average daily rate, compared to the same time last year

  • Number of Bookings: total bookings staying that month

What does each day's cell show?

  • Main price: the price Pricepoint has set for that date, and sent to your PMS

  • Smaller price beneath it: the Starting Price, shown as a reference point

    • If shown in italics, a manual price has been set for this day.

  • Green checkmark: confirms Pricepoint has sent this price to your PMS, and your PMS has confirmed receipt

  • Units: number of units available for that room type/group on that date

  • Occupancy percentage:

    • Building icon: occupancy for the whole property

    • Bed Icon: occupancy for the specific room type/group

  • Grayed-out cell with "sold room": the room type/group is fully sold out for that date, with no remaining availability

If the main price appears in red or blue, see What Do Prices in Red or Blue Mean?

How do I check if a price actually synced to my PMS?

Compare the price shown in Pricepoint's Calendar for that date against the price shown in your PMS for the same date and room type. If they match, the price synced correctly. The green checkmark on a Calendar cell also confirms Pricepoint sent the price and your PMS confirmed receipt, but the most direct check is comparing the two systems side by side.

What do the pencil and info icons do?
